confirm Auto Complete with only certain keys

Hi,

Is there a way to define only specific keys to confirm a Auto Complete?
To be more specific, I want only TAB or a number to select anything from the Auto Complete suggestions but not the Enter key. This is to avoid choosing wrong suggestions via Enter key when I'm in a messenger and hit enter to send the message.

Sure, selection keys can be set in Preferences/Appearance.

Thank you. Is that individually adjustable? I want "Enter" to be activated for Text-Expander but not Auto-Complete.
