SELECT variables in V 4.15

When I upgraded to 4.15 shortcuts with SELECT variables broke. They would only send keys to a certain point. I tried editing the select variables but only got errors. Next, I entered new SELECT variables into a new test shortcut and simply entered 1, 2, 3 as options on separate lines as per documentation. When trying to save the variable it displays an error indicating I have invalid characters in my variable name which only contains letters except for the "SELECT_" inserted by the program.
