I have tried a number of "Start Menu" replacement programs (to replace the Windows 10 menu with the old Windows 7 menu) but (a) they are no longer supported (i.e. Classic Shell) or (b) they are a bit pricey (i.e. not free).
The FastKeys Start Menu would be a great alternative and easier to maintain. In the interim, I have created a number of folders and pinned these to my taskbar with all of the shortcuts and hierarchy of menus I want.
Question:
Is there any way to import these into FastKeys to create a Start Menu?
I added an OPEN option in the Start Menu and specified the folders I had created (with the shortcuts) and then put the option to show "files and sub-folders" and now I can see my menus.
What would be nice is to be able to import entries from c:\programdata\microsoft\windows\start menu (or any other folder) and automatically create a start menu in FastKeys (with all of the appropriate sub-menus).
Example of the menu I have created as shown in the picture below.
