FYI -

I was copying 1300 Excel entries into the clipboard and Excel through an error message "The picture is too large and will be truncated.

When I closed Fast Keys I was able to copy and Paste the 1300 entries.

When I updated Fast Keys to NOT use the clipboard, I was able to copy and paste the 1300 entries.

There is a known issue with Excel - it uses a separate clipboard handling which might conflict with FastKeys. This is also the reason why FastKeys Clipboard Manager is by default disabled in Excel.

I use two different installs of Excel:
1) Excel 2013 on a Surface Pro 2 local
2) Excel 2007 connected with the RDP client to a terminal server

FK clipboard is left at default setting of "Not Active" in "Excel"

1) Trying to copy in setup 2: Excel 2007 / RDP results in "Picture too large .. will be truncated error"
2) Copying in setup 1: Excel 2013 / local works perfectly

Any suggestions would be welcome.

What is the name of Excel window? Try setting "Not Active in" to "ahk_class XLMAIN" or "xlsx" or "xls". You could also get the window name by using Tools/Window Information.

Thanks for the quick response!

I used your Tool "Window Information" for the first time .. very nice.

The window title included the Server Name and "Remote Desktop Connection"

Adding the word "Remote" to the Clipboard "Not Active In" list fixed the problem.
