I want to disable the text expander and auto completion for certain type of applications such as Windows Terminal. In the preference settings for expander and auto completion, I tried to add either the windows title (e.g. Powershell) or ahk_class CASCADIA_HOSTING_WINDOW_CLASS. None of these works. I also tried ahk_exe with the exe name with no avail. I used Window Information to get those information. I am using the
5.09 release. I don't remember that I have run into such issues in version 4.

This works for me:

I put Powershell in both TextExpander and Auto Complete "Not Active In" field. The Auto Complete is working as expected but text expander still gets activated when I entered the shortcut for text completion.

Unlike Auto Complete, I cannot create a short cut keys to disable TextExpander. So I am stuck now. I also tried both running FastKeys as admin or non admin, and have the same issue.

It works for me. Check if you have defined any other restrictions on the item level. Or contact our support.
