Make external keypad go to sleep?

Hi...
I have a small X-Keys keypad that I use periodically during the day (https://xkeys.com/legacy.html)...but if I leave it plugged into a USB port, it prevents the computer from going to sleep.
I am wondering if there's a way I can use FastKeys to put the keypad to sleep if the keypad is unused for a specified period of time like 20 minutes?
