When using the "Quick find" feature, and searching items in the Start Menu, I can initially see all of the Start Menu items listed.

However, as I start to search, even if typing a word that matches one of the listed items, some of the matching items are not included in the resultant list.

For example, let's say the "Quick find" list initially shows:

Microsoft Office Word
Microsoft Office Excel
Chrome Portable

If I start typing "chr", the entire list disappears. I would expect Chrome Portable to remain listed, but it disappears.

After a bit of testing, it seems that items that are nested in a submenu are searchable/filterable, but items that are not nested are not searchable/filterable. I'd like for the list to search/filter everything listed whether nested or not.

Is there a way to achieve this?

I tried and it works for me as expected - it finds the first and second level menus. Which version are you using?

Thanks for the quick reply! Using version 5.02.

I fully exited and restarted FastKeys, and it works as expected after the restart. So that's good news!

Does this mean FastKeys needs to be restarted after Start Menu edits, etc.?

No, edits should be saved automatically.
