Hello,

Microsoft has yet again been wicked enough to implement another 'feature', that you seemingly, can't disable through the Registry Editor.

Every time I make a change within one of my several Notepad files, an asterisk appears, at the beginning of a file. Now I have some commands, that are dependent on the title of those Notepad files.

Which would've been fine, since I could always just add the variation. But it seems when I try to add something with an asterisk at the beginning of an item, within the Window bar of a command, it stops on functioning all together:

Best wishes,

The file name cannot contain asterisks, this will not work.

I see, so there's no way to implement it working sometime in future perhaps?

Looks like it started working for just 'Temp' , despite having '*' in the title... strange

This is always the case. From the documentation: List may contain full or partial window (application) names.
