Despite being met with a message this morning that v5.01 was available, and that none of my settings would be lost, I've lost every one of my, roughly, 150 Text Expansion phrases and shortcuts. I've created a forum account just to express my sheer disappointment, as I'd hoped to purchase the software, but not sure a purchase is justifiable after this.

Sorry for your experience but none of your settings are lost.

If you have upgraded from version 4 then version 5 is installed in parallel and is not overwriting any settings. You can still run version 4. Version 5 should offer the automatic import of settings.

Please contact our support mail to receive more detailed support for your case.

Thanks, however I'm running the portable version and there appears to be no other exe file, other than the version which opens v5.01. Where will I find my phrases from v4 please?

Your old settings file must be located in your FastKeys/Data folder - use File/Open to load it.

If this doesn't work try loading the data from the backup:
Use File/Open to select one of the recent backups from "Documents\FastKeys\FastKeys Backup" folder.
Then use File/Save as... to save the file with another name to "Documents\FastKeys" folder.
