Re: I need help

This is due to the editor not able to handle fast key sending. Try in Word or another editor or set the Key Delay in Preferences/Text Expander/Advanced - try 50-80ms.

Re: Convert numbers to text

Try this as a shortcut (Type: Command). Script will read the number left from the caret and add spelled text send, ^+{Left} send ^c send {right} sleep 100 n1 := strsplit(clipboard,".").1 n2 := strsplit(clipboard,".").2 stringreplace, n1, n1, `,,, all send, % " - (" Spel...

Re: I need help

It works for me as expected, you must be doing something else. Can you be more specific?

Re: Variables in shortcuts?

Yes, you can do this. First define your variable in Tools/Startup script, for example: MyCount:=0 Than you can use "Insert command code" macro to increase the count each time you run a phrase: MyCount:=MyCount+1 For more advanced loops you could use AutoHotkey script instead (Type: Command).

Re: Shortcut to insert X in form checkboxes

To open the webpage from a start menu, create a new menu item and use Type: Run https://fastkeysautomation.com/documentation5/Run.html Sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by "fill in a variety of checkboxes with a capital X". In general, try to do it by using the keyboard only and then si...

Re: Simulate pressing multiple Keys at the same time

Hi, it is difficult to give you exact solution as each page may be different. As a general idea, first try to do it by using a keyboard only and then simulate exact same key presses with FastKeys. If something is not working, add a short pause (like {2000} for two seconds) so you see what's going on.

Re: Inserting character {

As said, both work for me. And this should also work: MyClipSaved := ClipboardAll Clipboard = Send, +^{Left} ; select text by whole word to the left Send, ^c ; copy selected text ClipWait, 0.25 ; wait 250 ms StringLower, MyAcro, Clipboard Clipboard:="{a-" MyAcro "}" sleep 100 Sen...

Re: Feature suggestion: commenting out/uncommenting macro code

Comments in Send mode were implemented in 5.12. You can select the text, right click and select "comment".

Re: Inserting character {

It works for me, it is related to swiss keyboard. Does this work? MyClipSaved := ClipboardAll Clipboard = Send, +^{Left} ; select text by whole word to the left Send, ^c ; copy selected text ClipWait, 0.25 ; wait 250 ms StringLower, MyAcro, Clipboard SendRaw, {a-%MyAcro%} Clipboard := MyClipSaved
