Switch from one application to another?
I know I can move from Application A to Application B using X,Y coordinates...but that is not a great solution because if the Application B has moved, it can cause the shortcut to fail. Is it possible for me to jump from Application A to Application B using some kind of unique identifier like the Ti...

Re: Mouse not clicking in window after moving?
Figured out the problem...by going back and reading my own previous posts and solutions offered!
For some reason, if I always start FastKeys as an admin, the shortcuts work.
If I don't run it as an admin, they don't work.
Go figure.

Mouse not clicking in window after moving?
Hi... I had to reinstall windows...and one shortcut that worked fine before does not work now. The issue is that in the routine the cursor moves from Chrome to another application and then sends a CTRL+T in the second application. But the click is not happening in the second application, so the CTRL...

Shortcut for just one application?
For one particular application I use, I would like to have the right arrow be a trigger for Alt+Right and the left arrow be Alt+Left. I thought I could just make a shortcut for that [{Alt Down}{Right}{Alt Up}] and then specify the name of the application in the Window field. Well, I get the desired ...

Help! Cannot open Settings anymore...
Hi... I made what I intended to be a temporary change in settings and deactivated several macros. Now I cannot get back into Settings to turn the macros back on. I have tried restarting my computer, made sure I was starting FastKeys as an Admin, etc...but I cannot get Settings to open. Can anyone he...

Make external keypad go to sleep?
Hi... I have a small X-Keys keypad that I use periodically during the day (https://xkeys.com/legacy.html)...but if I leave it plugged into a USB port, it prevents the computer from going to sleep. I am wondering if there's a way I can use FastKeys to put the keypad to sleep if the keypad is unused f...

Re: Scripting newbie
Wow, Tom, this is great! Thank you! It's like a tutorial on scripting. I figured out by clicking the links you sent that I could eliminate the MouseMove command and just add x and y to the Click. But here's the one thing that's stumped me...after the cursor goes to the correct coordinates 85, 130......

Scripting newbie
I do a visual check of 300 data points in a table twice a day. Typically I do this using my voice and a voice scripting app called TalonVoice, saying "next" and "previous" and a few other voice commands to work my way down to each successive line of data. But sometimes I am in a ...
