I have created a few Text Expander entries that use some special characters or symbols. I have noticed that they will work without trouble if I do not alter them, but if I edit or duplicate one the data in the "substitute" field of the Text Expander will either disappear or be replaced with an additional lowercase letter such as "i" or "d" :?:

Here is the "iota" character
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iota

When input into the "substitute" field of the Text Expander and saved or applied, will work when the string is run, but if I attempt to edit it or duplicate it, the "substitute" field is empty when opened, and will ask to save when closing, even though nothing has been altered or changed (note: the only character in the field was the iota).

Exactly same situation occurs with the character "yodh"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yodh

When using Greek symbols, here I'm using Delta (by itself), changing the entry will add an additional lowercase letter to the Greek symbol after opening to edit (I've had it change to a lowercase "i" and "d" in two tests):

Do I need to go to the "More" drop-down to use special characters or symbols from another language?

Thanks for any help! :)

Thanks. I tried to enter some of the mentioned characters on our computers and cannot reproduce this. What are your language settings and how do you enter the characters?

You could also send your settings file to our support mail and we can take a look.
