The replacement should be instant. In which application do you experience such behavior? Check if you have set key delays (Preferences/Text Expander/Advanced).

Hi Tom !

Firstly, thanks for your answear.

To answear you, I noticed such behavior on many apps : chromium, thunderbird.
I checked my preferences but no delays are setup.
I also noticed that this behavior only appears with large text so i'm asking myself if it's due to my computer's cpu...

For larger text, this is the option you are looking for: Preferences/Text Expander/Advanced - Use clipboard if text length exceeds (chars) - set it to lower number. This way, text will be expanded using clipboard and it will be instant.
