If Fastkeys is running but hidden in the taskbar, is there a hotkey that can bring up the main window? This is so that it's possible to add new items, phrases etc. Of course, it's always possible simply to click the icon in the taskbar/notification area, but since FastKeys is all about hotkeys....

Yes, you can set a Settings shortcut in Preferences/General/Shortcuts.

Thanks. I should have been more specific. I'm not sure how to set up the command once I get to Preferences/General/Shortcuts

I'm not sure I understand... in Preferences select General/Shortcuts tab. Then select Setting shortcut field and press desired key combination on your keyboard.

Your last post solved the problem. I didn't realise you needed to select Setting shortcut field in Preferences/General/Shortcuts and was a bit bewildered by what the various fields meant this area.

(For instance, what 'Quick-add' does - actually, what does 'Quick-add' do? I couldn't give it a function whatever key I allocated).

But bringing up the Settings window is all sorted. Thanks again.

Quick-add shortcut can be used to quickly use the selected text, file, folder, webpage or command code to create a new FastKeys command item. ;)
