I'll check again on the weekend. All autohotkey scripts will show up as autohotkey.exe on Task Manager, right?

Just clean installed Windows latest and after drivers, Office and MemoQ (all not executing), Fastkey still doesn't work for:
à postos > a postos

BUT, it works for
p or > por

???? Is the diacritic causing any issues? Maybe that time it worked it was my autohotkey in the background, not Fastkeys?

Could you disable "Display as you type" option under Preferences/Text Expander and try again? Also disable all running ahk scripts if any.

It was disabled. It's a fresh trial install. I even didn't restore my backup. I also tried raw text and putting à in {à}. Alsto tried with a regular keyboard, since I'm using ergodox. :/

Hi again,
Thanks for the email but it didn't work also.
I tried on 3 different computers... same problem.

BUT I SOLVED IT!

The problem was the app used for testing: Sticky Notes
2017-10-25_07-35-08.gif
I always tested in it. Since it's not a common misspelling, I ended up not checking this on other apps.

I just checked on other windows apps: email, edge and onenote... same issue. So, it's worth checking out.
At least I can use FK on my main apps. :D

Please, if you check/solve this issue on windows apps, let me know. I use OneNote extensively - 2016 on desktop but windows app on notebook.

Hi tested it again in Sticky Notes and it worked.

Are you switching between languages? If yes, in your case, because of the special character used, you need to reload FastKeys after switching to Portuguese, otherwise the string will not be recognized. Please let me know if this helps.

No. It didn't work. How is this possible?
Is there any log I could send to investigate this further?
This is more frustrating because you don't have this issue :O

I loaded the settings files you sent and tested it again:
- Sticky Notes - works as expected. I used Sticky Notes 1.8.0.0
- Mail - I had to set a Key Delay to 50ms to work reliably
- Edge - no issues, no delay needed, works as expected.

You may have some other Windows setting or app interfering...

There is definitely something weird going on.
First I thought it was gaming apps or other overlay stuff (DisplayFusion and Geforce Experience). So I tested this on a LG Gram and also on a Surface Pro 3. Same issue.
Then I tried using only Autohotkey... same issue.
Later I tried ditching the diacritic on the trigger and adding on the replacement. :?:a postos::à postos. PERFECT.
To test the diacritic issue, I tried a single hotkey ::pôr::por - SAME ISSUE on UWPs. :O
But why you don't have this??? Maybe because my system is also in PT-BR???

Ps: I also tweeted this to auhotkey dev.
